2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Diesel Crew Cab Preview, Price News
Observing a major re design in 2014, the Chevy Silverado 1500 underwent several tweaks each year through 2017. Now, with all the 2019 version year soon arriving, we expect the pickup to be considered a carry over version. We are, however, anticipating the complete redesign for the 2019 model year.
After getting a restyled front end in 2016 and fresh grille dividers in 2017, we expect the looks of this 2019 Silverado to remain unchanged. Considering all of the changes the pickup has undergone lately, we do expect this to be a problem with buyers. The interior must remain the same.
Being a carryover, we also expect the normal features to stay unchanged. If it turns out to be real, its WT trimming (the base version) can include 17-inch steel brakes, xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, a bed light, air-conditioning, cruise, vinyl seating, rugged rubber flooring, and also a 4.2-inch color screen audio system.
We also expect the powertrains to roll in unchanged. This would indicate the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 base engine will be a 4.3-liter v 6 using 285 horsepower. The future engine is a 5.3-liter V-8 with 355 hp, followed by a 6.2-liter V-8 with 420 hp. The v 6 and 5.3-liter V-8 engines will make use of a six-speed car transmission, as the 6.2-liter engine will pair with an eight-speed automated transmission.
Just like other pick ups, the 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 various cabs have different IIHS safety ratings, and these should carry on in the newest model year. All versions of the Silverado received good ratings in all but the small-overlap crash tests, where in fact the extended cab model has acceptable evaluation and the crew-cab gets a marginal rating. We expect these ratings to keep into the new year.
There is certainly a few optional high-level security bits available on the Silverado 1500: rearview camera, lane departure warning and intervention, and forward collision warning with low-speed emergency braking.
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 doesn’t yet have the official release day. Nevertheless, based on production estimates, we anticipate an on-sale date sometime in August.
Centered on recent order guides, Regular Cabs begins at $29380 with destination, while the double-cab has been priced from $33405.
