2020 Opel Insignia Release Date, Specs, & Configurations
here is The New Update of 2020 Opel Insignia. With the 2nd generation of the Opel Insignia launched just a year ago, the German brand seems to be shaping up to date. We tell you the last hour of the attractive saloon.
At the end of 2017, we met the current Opel Insignia. It was the second generation of the popular saloon, which also adopted the new Grand Sports name for its conventional 5-door variant. Well, just a year later, media like motor1 have already hunted new units of its familiar version 2020 Opel Insignia Sport Tourer rolling camouflage mode, which would suggest that the brand plans its update for 2019 or early 2020.
And yesterday we told you that Opel confirmed the launch of up to 8 new cars in the next two years, so that, in addition to the already expected new Corsa, Astra or Mokka X, it is more than likely that the first restyling also appears of the Insignia. However, officially the German brand does not confirm this fact, so we enter the field of speculation.
2020 Opel Insignia Redesign & Changes
At the moment, therefore, we can only ensure that the new Opel Insignia “hunted” in the testing phase (we offer you in the photos the first recreations made by our illustrator Schulte), would slightly renew its appearance , adopting new optics, bumpers and grille , surely following the same line of the new Astra that should arrive already also in 2019.
Another aspect to confirm would be if the saloon will adopt some new mechanical evolution or would dare to mount the new PSA engines that look, for example, the new Peugeot 508. Although it is not ruled out, the logic would lead us to think that it would be the new generation of the Opel Insignia, planned somewhat later, which already used the architecture and the Peugeot and Citroën propellers
The 2020 Opel Insignia, in addition, has just renewed its multimedia system that already equipped this new update. It is a new Navi Pro system, with the latest in connectivity and infotainment. The superior version will have a touchscreen of up to 8 inches and will include information projection on the windshield (HUD). It will also integrate 3D maps with real-time information on traffic conditions, as well as alerts and unexpected warnings. Connecting two mobile phones at the same time will be possible.
