Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid: Specs, Tech & Release Date
In the next Hall of Paris, Citroen will have as main protagonist the Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid Concept. With this model, the new image of the brand in terms of design and plug-in hybrid technology is made known.
Between the 2 and the 14 of October, the Hall of Paris will be celebrated. Citroën takes on a special role in the gala show and its 1,600-meter stand will showcase its current range models. The 70th anniversary of the 2 Horsepower will be celebrated, but without a doubt, the protagonist of Citroën will be the C5 Aircross Hybrid Concept. The new model, which will hit the market as a production vehicle in 2020, also shows the brand’s new image in terms of design.

The new Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid Concept will also debut a new hybrid plug-in technology and represents a new step for the electrification of Citroën that aims to house 80% of the brand’s models in 2023 and 100% in 2025. The new SUV of the brand promises an autonomy in electric mode of 50 km, will have charging system by induction, while the total power between combustion and electric engines is estimated at 225 HP
Remember that in the range of the Citroën C5 Aircross will also have room for gasoline and diesel engines with a performance between 130 and 180 hp, associated with the NEW EAT8 automatic gearbox. This model will have the latest advances in driving support systems and all this will allow a level 2 autonomous driving.
As it happens with the latest creations of the brand, the 2019 C5 Aircross will offer multiple customization options, no less than seven different colors and thirty exterior combinations, also many possibilities in terms of termination and equipment, which will be the latest in everything and above all in terms of connectivity, information, and entertainment.
